It is with great sadness to announce that Valerie passed away in the early hours of Saturday 6th April at Gloucester Royal Hospital after suffering from long-term illnesses, coupled with dementia.

The family would like to thank all of the Gloucestershire Homecare Services carers for their daily attendance at her home during her continuing frailty in health; the doctors, frailty team nurses, clinical & reception staff at the Aspen Medical Practice, Adult & Social Care Team, Community District Nursing Team, Managing Memory Together Team, Dementia Advisory Service and Alzheimer's Society, Gloucester Carers Hub, and the doctors, nurses and paramedics at Gloucester Royal Hospital, who did such a wonderful and caring health role of keeping her as comfortable as possible in her time of need.
RIP Mum, forever in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. You will never be forgotten as you were such a huge part of our lives.
